Adhan banned with loudspeaker in İskeçe24 March 2020İskeçe (Xanthi) Mufti Ahmet Mete stated in the information note he shared from his social media account that the authorities of the Police Station Xanthi asked to read the adhan in the city center and multicultural villages without a loudspeaker.

İskeçe Mufti Ahmet Mete said that this decision had to be taken due to the banning of worship both in churches and mosques with a loudspeaker in this process.

"Announcement
Dear brothers and sisters. The Adhan was asked to be read without loudspeakers in the mosques in our city and multicultural villages by the police officers. This decision had to be taken due to the banning of worship both in churches and mosques with a loudspeaker. I hereby submit for your information and hope that this process will end soon."
